Ah yes, let's unleash parasites that turn ants into zombies to control the ant population. This couldn't back fire at all. At least not so long as Bruce Campbell is around to be released into the area and get rid of the zombies .

True zombie ants would attack and infect non-zombie ants. This is just a parasite like any other, except it happens to eat brains. Nothing zombie about it.
