I guess I'd have to come from a certain cultural background to fully grasp this video's emotional impact. To me this film just seems very well done, but is absent of all emotions they describe in the video.

To me the power comes from the shock of pure mortality.

You're watching an icon, someone you can point to and say "look, this is what he was years ago.. and here he is now" coupled with the songs already existing feeling of regret and reflecting upon ones life.. It's just seemingly such a perfect pairing.
