Who considers it part of the british isles anyway? Not the British government, Irish government, Folens, National geographic... The term has no official status at all. The British government uses the term "British-Irish Isles".

Even though Ireland is part of the British Isles I don't think it should be part of the British channel. The channel is for things relating to the United Kingdom and since Ireland isn't a part of the UK I'll have to remove it. Great song though

agreed, and indeed. British is for "Citizen of the British empire (which we dont have anymore) and being part of Great Britain. Ireland isn't part of that. Irish, are Irish. Northern Ireland is complicated.

whilst, as the wiki puts it, "There are two sovereign states located on the islands: the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Ireland (also described as the Republic of Ireland in cases of ambiguity)."

British is not for the islands and archipelago, but the citizenship of one of thoes two soverign thingys.

Hate to be off topic, but that's pretty good song, if a little too popish.

Let me help you out here johnny. I don't mean to be cruel, but what you're doing right here is partly why very few people like you on this site. You go around deading videos to gain rank, you downvote unsifted vids, you complain about quality but then post a bunch of dumb shit and a full quarter of your star points come from dead pool fixes. Not to mention that your comments often come off as whiny, annoying and endless. It would be naive of you to think that people don't notice these things.

You know what? If nearly anyone else on this site had changed the channel, I would have let it go with out incident, but you frankly haven't earned that yet, and until you do, you can expect more of the same.

I'm being harsh but honest. Truth be told, I think there is a good guy inside there waiting to come out. You've sifted some interesting vids and you have some eclectic taste. Despite my criticism, I'd love to see you succeed.

Anyway, I'm willing to bury the hatchet, but it all depends on your behavior. For the time being, you should probably not mess with my vids. Downvote them if you don't like them, upvote them if you do, but do not remove any channel assignments, and I will do the same for you.
