Suck It, Jesus!

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Comic Kathy Griffin's "offensive" remarks about Jesus at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be cut from a pre-taped telecast of the show, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences said on Tuesday.

Griffin made the provocative comment on Saturday night as she took the stage of the Shrine Auditorium to collect her Emmy for best reality program for her Bravo channel show "My Life on the D-List." Via

Excellent points, QM!

My turn to say something insane, barely related to the topic, and borderline bigoted; 'If she took a shit on stage, rubbed it on herself and threw it in the audience, Germany would have elected her President.'

And now to follow it up with a statement that is demonstrably wrong based on this clip actually being censored from the broadcast; 'nobody cares what Kathy has to say, so she can say what she wants without being censored.'

... we're like brothers from a different mother

"Do someone give me a psychological biography of this ladY ? Censur or not, this kind of thing is not said without a good reason."

Why? Geeze, cause she's not religious, and she... dunno, perhaps is a little tired of the number people who praise the lord for their award... and did so in a funny way.

It's stunning that this was not allowed to air, it's really not offensive... at least it shouldn't be. She didn't insult others really, just said 'he' had nothing to do with her winning.

But Looris, they might ban this in Predom-Roman Catholic Italy, not in the U.S....
she probably realized she sounded like a fucking idiot, and requested that it be struck from the record, or the producers perhaps, wanting no grief, from an otherwise forgettable awards ceremony-Thgis bitch is about as un-funny as this metaphor, anything to deter a ratings drop.

spoco2, she's a nominal comedienne, who has a pre-occupation with plastic surgery, and a generally uncomfortable, insincere delivery, in her stand-up, which never really took way off.....she is now a sit-com, legend in her own mind.....arggghhh-they should keep mirrors away from her.......
