I would pay money to know what the cops said when they pulled up. "Hey, this area was destroyed by an earthquake, we can't have you kids scratching it up."

Not that I like skaters in public space, but there's something about this video that eerily grasps your attention. Perhaps it is the idea that boys are still just being boys, riding their skateboards and having fun atop of the devastation of scarred grounds. The selfish chase for pleasure even amongst destruction and devastation makes for a brilliant contrast.

I like to think of it as lemons lemonade and life moving on. I know some people will say that it's in poor taste or something but I don't see it as that. Lets all stop worshiping the dead to the point where we can't even laugh after they're gone for fear of disparaging their memory. Life is for the living...lets live.
