I'm all with you on the experiment part. However, I don't see how this could be perceived as fun by any standard. And I can definately not see how this can be compared to Monty Python.
Of course, different people have different tastes when it comes to comedy, but I have serious problems picturing anyone being amused by eight and a half minutes of butchered RE4 clips.

This is why you have both the discard and kill commands at your fingertips. Stop clogging up the queue with shit on purpose. You know this sift is junk and you said it yourself. We all know there is no limit to requeue, so why bother posting stuff you don't like, and continue to let it live when you know the sift doesn't like it?

I don't see how this is funny, witty or clever in any way. I'm hoping to sift something myself for the sole purpose of downvoting this. Hopefully it will be discarded beforehand.
Flat out abusing ones sifting rank in order to keep ones own bad videos alive indefinately is something atleast I look down on. Look at it this way:

This video has failed six times in a row to get enough votes. There's been voices raised in opposition to its lack of content and quality, and as far as I can see it's still several votes from being sifted.
Of course I'm no authority on videosift, and as such speak solely for myself.

Lets see, I picked up two extra votes and Kreegath has discredited me for the fourth time, with all do respect please stop taking this seriously for everytime I say *requeue after all not all videos can be sifted in two days and you don't have to check up on me every two days either... Also if this is such as bad video, why is the count currently at 8 to 4? (I know its three people who downvoted this, but I felt that I should have added Kreegath to this score, after all he has already pointed out how much he hates me)

Please don't see me trying to get you to stop requeueing the video as hating you personally, that's not the case. However, I do disagree with your view on requeueing.
In all fairness, it's possible to criticize someone and not hate them. Disagreement over a video is what I feel, not enmity towards you personally. I'm sorry if I've come across as attacking you personally and not made it clear what was intended, namely criticizing the quality of the video and the infinite requeue system set in motion here.

First off, if you check back on sift talk, I did get permission to see about if whether or not youtube poop would be considered an illegal post or not... Since not many people knew about and and since it wasn't getting counted against the rules, I was able to post one...

Second, in the description, I say "It isn't suppose to make sense"... The idea behind what I said is that if you try to figure out what is going on, your not going to enjoy the video... The whole thing is that these type of videos are actually quite popular believe it or not and I thought I would share one piece... If I offended anyone in anyway, I can only say sorry of course... however I have no regrets on posting this video and I was actually posting another one if and when this video would have been sifted...

I don't understand why you would want this taken off of sift talk. Seems like you'd want as many people to see it as possible.

I have to disagree with something though: This IS supposed to make sense. It's not a linear narrative in any sort of way, but the clips are strung together and orchestrated to make a joke. He throws the knife and it flies into his own chest. It’s not like he throws the knife and then we never see it again. There is a purpose to the madness, and if it truely didn't make sense then it could never be funny.

Like said before, it gave me a few laughs, but I almost think it becomes predictable. In the end I just don't think the amount laughter is proportional to the time it takes to watch.

But I respect your experiment and persistence. And given enough time it will probably get to the queue (with a thread of about 150 comment ).

To tell you the truth, I can see this recieving more than 200 comments, 1/2 consisting of *requeue commands and this would still not get anywhere if no one actually votes...

So what exactly is the end state? Are you waiting for a discard? For enough down votes to kick it out? Or are you waiting to see how many requeueueues it takes before the requeueue rule is changed? Sometimes i think your setting yourself up for the 08 siftys of most requeues on a single video.

Dude, I totally lay claim to the worst SIFT of '08. And to prove it, I offer this evidence: my video is already discarded.

mas - why are you so attached to this vid? I mean, nothing personal, but you see that title bar on top of your browser? It reads "Quality Control" for a reason. This has been sitting in the queue for 2 weeks now, and hasn't made it out. I certainly don't have a problem with you requeueing your video as many times as you wish, but why not just go out and find something else to sift?

If you're trying to prove a point about the possibility of infinite requeues, it's been done.

It only got requeued 3 times though.. this one has far surpassed that.

Honestly, I don't have any attachments to this video and the reason why I keep using the *requeue command on this video is beyond me... That's what I was pointing out. That experiment has been done and the answer is yes, the way things work now, pretty much anything can get sifted if it's in the queue for long enough.

We all know that video sift doesn't have ample server power to spare, so why do you insist on clogging it down even more with this stuff?
