What the hell did I just watch?
Someone please explain....

I'm not sure what's more interesting;

A) This man is clearly not Senate material but won a primary anyway (thank you open primaries!)
B) Olbermann and the Democratic party at large cannot comprehend how someone other than an 'establishment Democrat' could possibly win a primary - and treat this man with contempt
C) "Congressman Clyburn suggested that you were planted in this campaign, possibly by Republicans. Why should we believe he's not telling the truth and you are?" - Why would you question this mans integrity based on a so-far-baseless accusation by a Congressman?

While I hope this man never gets anywhere near Washington, D.C., I do find it surprising how rude the Democratic party and K.O. treat him. He's obviously a nut and a longshot, but that's democracy.

I expected worse. I thought Olbermann did a good job considering the odd situation.

I felt bad for both of them. I'll bet Olbermann didn't think he'd get through nearly so many questions in so short a time. Judging from his responses, I'm not sure that Greene thought he'd be encountering questions at all.

Odd thought the situation may be, that's no reason to treat a man this way. Like I said, he's obviously not the best senate candidate (who knows?), but contempt should be reserved for those who earn it, not those who may be misguided.>> ^vaporlock:
