Man dies in custody. Tasered 5 times in 43 seconds

*** I FOUND THIS VERY DISTURBING. ***
In Gwinnett County, Georgia, an un-edited police videotape shows 31-year-old Deacon Frederick Williams being struck with a TASER five times in 43 seconds, just 4 minutes after being led into the jail.

He was handcuffed behind his back and in leg restraints, following an epileptic seizure at his home; an ambulance was called by his wife and son, but the police arrived first. His last words were: "Don't kill me, man. Don't kill me."

What is the acceptable amount of death for a "non lethal" weapon. I dont get why this is not some form of manslaughter or a like charge. I cant imagine its self defense. In the end its just very sad.

Telling somebody to "stop resisting" while tasering them is just plain stupid, since you are causing them to thrash around.

I don't believe these cops are that dumb. It sounds to me like they are using "stop resisting" as some sort of safe word to keep them out of trouble. If they SAY he was resisting then their actions MUST be justified.

I can't list how many times I've seen cops fabricate "probable cause" like that, I wonder if they teach that in official police training.

reminds me of http://www.videosift.com/video/The-Boondocks-Gas-Station-Robbery

The cops killed another black man in "america", something tells me that won't make the front page.

It's obvious in the video that the man is involuntarily convulsing, regardless if that's due to the siezure, the tazering, etc. The "Stop Resisting" cop was with either too stupid to effectively judge to situation or covering his own ass.

You know what I find REALLY disturbing is the smirk on that cunt's face right after they get him in that room. Even if in another universe, they were in the right, where does that smirk come from?

I believe that this does not fall within the scope of snuff according to the site's definition because it is similar to a video I can't locate in which an officer in a subway station shoots an unarmed man in the head at point blank range.

That was allowed to stay because it was a lengthy controversial film of news-worthy events surrounding the death and was clearly attempting to educate as many people as possible about them.

This video is very similar in purpose and is not merely a short, "fun" clip of a man losing his life. It is for this reason that I will *return.
