Just for reference I looked this up. He took a plea deal last year for this, and recently his was indicted by grand jury for bribing a police officer because we ran a wrecker service and got more calls that way.

Looks like he will be doing jail time.

The plea agreement states that Simmons would have been sentenced to six months in jail for the criminal impersonation charge, but was instead given a suspended sentence. He would have also had to serve two 11-month-29-day jail terms for unlawful photography, but that sentence was also suspended.
Any infraction while he is on probation could result in Simmons’ being forced to serve those terms.

Simmons entered the plea in circuit court in lieu of a trial.

He will be on probation for two years because the two counts of illegal photography would have ran concurrently with the criminal impersonation charge.

Probation != jail time >.>
