Not saying sharks were the reason, but it IS Australia.

What's with all that hyperbole here? Man fights off shark? Man doesn't touch shark, shark doesn't even bother to come close enough for that. Pants-shitting-terror? Sure, but no fighting nor attacking. Just a mix of curiousity and well adjusted panic.
Maybe I just never happened to notice it before but it seems to me that lately a lot of videos have widely overblown, actionpacked titles. If I posted a video of me farting noisily, it would probably be titled "Giant gas explosion rips man's butt to shreds!"
