monterey bay aquarium has a sunfish in its massive open sea exhibit

These guys always scared me when i was on cape cod because their fins look like sharks.

I saw one once while surfing. Like phelixian I thought it was a shark at first and panicked. Then when I realized what it was I paddled closer. It was just flopping around basking in the sun. It was the size of a car and each fin was nearly as long as my board and its eye was like a dinner plate. It wasn't the least bit afraid of me and let me get within just a few feet. One of my greatest thrills.

Don't they call these dogfish as well?? Man remember seeing one i a book as a kid and that freakish human-lookin head.....like a neighbor i know...
