Life and philosophy of an ultra runner

Beautiful video about one of the ultra runners I really look up to.

Tim Waggoner shares about his ultra running philosophy and gives us a sneak peak into his training strategy and lifestyle. (YT description)

From the front page of the Skillful channel: "Submissions should ensure the skill is being demonstrated in some way, in part or in their entirety. Skills can be dexterous, physical or even mental (depending on how externalised the thought processes are)."

This video hits ALL of those points.

I think it belongs, but ultimately I bow to the channel owner. Perhaps we can *discuss?

JiggaJonsonsays...

A skill is a learned/practiced ability. Skillful, then, would be the accumulation of ability and the exercise of it in an adept way.

*looks down at small gut* This guy is a more *skillful runner/exerciser than I am.

Actually, I could have sworn at first I ticked the channel box, and then unticked it on second thought. Turns out I didn't, but in retrospect, I have to say this is a video more _about_ a particular skill than it is demonstrative of it (which is more in line with the idea behind the channel), so I'd say I have to agree with Deano and Hybrid.

Very nice sift. He's a pretty inspiring guy.

The video was beautifully shot, except.. wtf is with crossing the line during the interview? Switching from the left side to right side, in simple terms. Don't do that. Seriously.. don't.
