Laura Ingraham gets schooled by Ron Paul

I've used to like Laura somewhat because she would make sense once in a great while. Unfortunately she's been schooled in the ways of the NeoCon for far too long. Hopefully she will actually take what Ron Paul says and opens her eyes to flaws in her NeoCon arguments and feeble attempts at trying to corner him with incorrect assumptives.

I'm so tired of thinly veiled bigotry. She said that we "helped the muslims", and in exchange, we got "3000 incinerated americans". Great, the actions of 19 people are now the responsibility of nearly a billion people? how many Iraqi's have we killed?

3000 people is a drop in the bucket. Cars kill that many Americans Each Month.

I appreciate that I got the chance to hear this, and I'm glad it's generating discussion, and I don't want to hijack any of that. However, I gotta say, for me, this isn't a video and I wonder if there would be a more appropriate place for it than on the "video"sift.

What as stupid bitch. "If stockpiles of weapons were found..." You can't argue an "If". What if they weren't found? What if we didn't go over there? What if...?

...and then she keeps trying to win the argument by changing subjects because she knows she's not "winning". His shit is dialed, eric, I agree. Man, I hope he wins. He's the only candidate in my lifetime that has made any sense when he talks.

RoPaul, naive beyond belief, seems more like dial-up than dialed.

When pu**yass Carter let it be known the US would not be standing up for itself in the 70s, the commies invaded no less than SEVEN countries.

Today there are Chinese subs prowling every ocean (with much-improved missile tech thanks to Clinton) and Russia appears to be sliding back towards tyranny.

We live in a dangerous world where goodwill only goes so far. The US can never afford weak leaders who live in denial of the realities of national (self-)defense.

^ R U kidding me. Last I checked it was America Who is invading other countries, bombing then back into the stone age, and killing civilians by the hundreds of thousands. I think the world fears the tyranny of America. It doesent matter how much goodwill other countries show us. We take what we want and destroy those who oppose us. Very much like what the axis powers did, and the commies after them. I dont know about Russia's slide towards tyranny, but I do know about America transformation into a fascist state.

QM - You have got to be kidding! We are borrowing from the Chinese to the tune of BILLIONS to finance this "strong leader" shit (re: corporate welfare). They call in the notes and just who the hell do you think will be in the driver's seat?

You know what brought down the Soviets? Crappy economic policies that led to disaster. Sound familiar? If not - see above.

quantumushroom's line is useful. It's what they tell the youngins nowadays, who can't be expected to look intelligently at Reagan's withdrawal from Beirut after the Marine barracks disaster.
