Omg! The whole movie?

Borat builds a campfire and wakes up next to an evangelical church. Then when he wanders in he they grab him up and heal the devil out of him.

As an evangelical myself, I love that scene.

Yeah - it's the whole thing (probably for a short amount of time!) Note: ex-National Association of Evangelical's President, Ted Haggard and his old Colorado Springs New-Life 'mega-church' featured 1 hour and 4 minutes in. (Comedy for the kids at the end during the credits).

I heard that place (in the movie) was shut down soon after the movie's release.

As a moderately religious Christian, I say this about the people in the film: freaky-deaky.

Also, to quote the great Hank Hill on Christian rock: "You aren't making Christianity any better, you're just making rock and roll worse!"

If *I* ever say a prayer about anything Powerpoint-related, it'll be something like "dear God, please let this neverending Military Law lecture be over two seconds ago".

im sure this is known but just for the record, Ted Haggard was found to be a meth smoking homosexual. Although he says he simply bought the meth out of temptation and never actually ingested it, plus that the male prostitute he hired was simply a massager.

Please remove the "comedy" tag. There's absolutely nothing funny about this. This is extremely sad. The parents who are sending their kids over there are irresponsible. The people organizing this camp are mentally ill. This really sickens me.

I watched this when it came out, scared the crap out of me. It's more like brain washing than worship and the home school stuff! Fear for the future!

I really wanted to see this film. Now that I can watch it, I can't get even halfway through it before hitting my personal limit. It's just too much for my stomach.

The evangelicals are actually right about global warming, but not for the right reasons -- they believe it based on faith rather than based on hard evidence. Otherwise, totally batshit.

EDIT: Wow, twenty minutes in and I just can't stomach any more. I actually feel physically ill -- going to have to watch the rest tomorrow.

11 minutes in...sounds like shes building an army for a holy war. Upvote for the rat tail...Religion gets ridiculous when you are commanding a bowling ball in the name of Jesus to get a strike!

As stated by the 'pastor' calling in toward the end of the film, in such a Theocracy, equality of freedom simply cannot be allowed.
