children r just as valuable as adults, you could argue that a grown up is more valuable then a child so long as thay havent filled themselfs with garbedge if i had to chose between the life of a babby and that of a scientist i would probably kill the babby.

It is a great speech; maybe not the greatest. Arguably, Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address was the greatest Presidential Speech. Some believe it eclipsed the Gettysburg Address which many believe to be the greatest Presidential speech ever.

The text of Lincoln's address may be found here:

Kennedy was a statesman. Perhaps, sadly, he was the greatest statesman to sit in the Oval Office that I will see in my lifetime. I also, to large extent, agree with his sentiments in this speech. However, the video commentary contextualizes Kennedy's speech in ways unintended by the author. Great speech, but spare me the visual preaching that goes along with it. No vote.

The subtext added by the images are pretty appropriate considering the subject matter is "the strategy of peace". If you believe the truth needs to be ideologically "fair and balanced", then we'll agree to disagree.

Lincoln was a great president, of course; but speech-wise, this is much more personally moving than anything Lincoln could have come up with.

Kennedy was a horrible president, the forerunner of our brilliant Bill Clinton. All you youngsters read up on your Camelot history and you'll find that JFK was little more than a pretty face with a vicious father.
