Gold digging bitch should be fucking thrown in prison for negelgant homicide.
Instead, shes allowed to bring a court case against a grieving mother.

Holy shit I think ive just seen the mother of Palpatine.

Well, to me it looks more like a Roman circus or a public lynching than justice. Not even the basic facts seem to be addressed: whether or not minors are allowed to drive on private property in this specific state/county, whether Ms Moore did or did not give permission to drive the car; and “judge” Judy declaring the son to look “very healthy” and fat (is that the way a middle-aged lady with authority should speak to a 14-year old on national television?) seems to close the argument on hospital bills.

Can any sifter with a US law degree explain to me whether the parties still have recourse to a real judge after this foul-mouthed arbitrator from hell has her say (please, do not explain about arbitration in general, I know all about that; I’d just like to know what’s in the parties contracts)?

Octopussy: No.

From wikipedia: "The producers' employees call both parties and ask them questions about their case to make sure it's suitable for Judge Judy. If the parties agree to be on the show and sign a waiver, agreeing that arbitration in Sheindlin's court is final and cannot be pursued elsewhere (unless she dismisses the lawsuit without prejudice), their case will air on Judge Judy."

Upvote for "[Your son] looks very healthy to me... and he doesn't look like he missed a meal." Major lulz. Also, did that bitch say "Why isn't her daughter up here?" at 6:17? Wow, what a total sociopath.

Bah, again with the emotions. Why can't we just all be robots? While the other "judge" did not make ad hominem attacks, it seems to me that this one does. For shame.

Initially I thought that her claim was justified (even of it was a cold, cold thing to do), because I thought they stole the keys, but yeah she was totally negligent and while the daughter did also make some dumb mistakes that ended tragically, she was a minor, and the plaintiff is not.

As far as I know, you are allowed to drive a car on your own property even if you don't have a license, right? But in the case here, the parents permission would be needed to do it, because she was a minor?

In any case, the ruling seems right and the plaintiff certainly was a coldhearted beeatch.

Thats one cold bitch, she is still insisting she didnt do anything wrong, how is giving keys to a minor (under 18 both of them) a responsible thing to do? And then to disregard that and sue for "medical bills and car"

Thats like starting a bar fight and sueing some guy because when you punched him in the face you hurt your hand.

stopped listening when someone said they let their kids go out and listen to music in the car unattended. fucking hell, buy a fucking cd player and speakers for like $50 already.
