Great Moments in Democrat Racist History: FDR

"This video by The Black Sphere Productions showcases Democrat Liberal icon FDR and the little known racist history surrounding him. Not to mention, FDR didn't give us The New Deal, he gave us The Raw Deal." [/youtube]

I would be more inclined to believe his assertion that FDR "stated publicly on many occasions that he would never take a picture with a black man" if he presented an example of one instance, never mind "many". Not like I would refuse to believe it but this is the kind of bluster that Bill O'Reilly and Keith Obermann and all those clowns are shouting out every day. Say it in a loud confident voice and there are plenty that will believe it, sight unseen. Back up what you say with research and examples, and leave out the jittery graphics.

Yeah, pretty weak sauce. He's also factually wrong on how many terms FDR had -- he actually won a 4th term, though he died 3 months into it.

Then you got Truman, who desegregated the military...

What a wonderful political commentary: "FDR was a bad leftist economist because a was a racist!".

Hey, Blankfist, is this the best you can pull to bash democrats, are are you trying to ride some sort of "... is racist!" meme?

Also, I have something for Blacksphere's Uncle T. Junior here:

Of course I could have pulled a picture of FDR in a crowd with some black people in it, but I thought something like this would be more interesting:

President Franklin D. Roosevelt appointed an unprecedented number of African Americans to high positions. By mid-1935, forty-five had positions in cabinet offices and New Deal agencies. In 1936, this group began calling itself the Federal Council on Negro Affairs. Although these leaders were not officially cabinet members, their role in advising the President on black employment, education, and civil rights issues led the press to refer to them as FDR's "Black Cabinet" or the "Black Brain Trust."
