Gracie Breakdown of Ronda Rousey Armbar vs. Miesha Tate 1

I really enjoy watching Ronda Rousey compete. Her second fight with Miesha Tate (UFC 168) was phenomenal. She's an exceptionally skilled fighter.

This breakdown was quite useful. I had no idea the complexity of the techniques used.

I thought Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat button-combos were hard, I'll never attempt an MMA videogame

I know this is presented by UFC, but the fight was in Strikeforce, so I swapped the tag as I felt that was more valuable. Hope that's cool.

The rematch was awesome. Ronda's judo throws from the sprawl were crazy. Also, I was relieved to not see another gruesome dislocation. Of course, ended up watching Anderson snap his tibia in half instead. Ugh.

Disregard my original comment.

My confusion was that I kept thinking about UFC 168 and not the fight discussed in this video.

I'll leave UFC and Strikeforce in the tags.

Isn't it fascinating how much technique and consideration goes into what seems like just some random little maneuver?

Makes you look at a fight differently and really appreciate an expert pugilist like Rousey. I don't think it'd be an exaggeration to say she is the most skilled female grappler in MMA and that she's also more skilled than many (or most) male grapplers. (There's a reason they made her start competing with men when she was in Judo.)

As @xxovercastxx hinted, you should really check out her second fight with Tate in UFC 168. It was phenomenally impressive. (I've watched and re-watched it half a dozen times.)

I just wonder how she'll fair against Sara McMann in February. She's an undefeated beast.

That was pretty neat, speaking as someone who doesn't enjoy this sort of thing at all.
