Known for his unfiltered commentary on the lives of America’s ordinary citizens, controversial German-born American writer and poet Charles Bukowski’s reputation was not built on political correctness (or sobriety). For his latest film, Rio-based filmmaker Kayhan Lannes Ozmen directed a literal retelling of the Notes of a Dirty Old Man writer’s poem “Girl on the Escalator.”
