GTA V 5-Star Police Chase

As was pointed out in the comments, this is more of a spliced-together sequence of different chases. Probably by the same player, but definitely not the skillful, epic run it was being passed off as.

Still worth a look as there's a lot of great moves, and it still shows off one of the best games ever made to date. ;)

Very impressive.

Why didn't the spike strip at 1:22 do anything? I thought he was in trouble there.

Haven't played V yet, waiting for PC release. Have they toned down the impact of the spike strips, or was that car modded to have run-flats or something?

Yeah what a thrill to watch.

I believe the car probably has armored tires, which is one of the modifications you can make on vehicles.

V is easily the best GTA to date. The writing is unspeakably good.

Ausser Gefecht? My god, I knew the translations were bad in German versions, but this once again proves that you should keep your hands off of them.

Nice catch! I never would have even thought to look. I bet if you watch the minimap he's in different locations to prove it.
Damn that disappoints me.
I can still get some appreciation for a lot of his close calls, skillful driving, and those great stick-bomb throws, but I'll probably take it out of a couple channels. It definitely seems more of a montage of great instances now.

*fake Watch the headlights and tail lights, several times they'll be broken, then fixed, then broken again.

Nothing like slow-mo "concentration mode" to make the hairiest moments a piece of cake. Why don't the cops get slow-mo to take you down?

The real reason for the chase: he's got a box of krispy kreme. What's this town's annual law enforcement budget anyway?

Impressive driving for sure, but this isn't new to the GTA series. In fact, this is what GTA has always been about for me. Glad this sort of play is being recognized but I've seen better. Again, impressive but not the best. Maybe I'm just inundated with access to pro gamers who do this kind of stuff as a second nature. Upvote!

As I recall in GTA 3, VC & SA, one and two stars was police cars chasing you, three stars was car roadblocks, four stars was SWAT van roadblocks, five stars was FBI, and six stars was military truck roadblocks and tanks. So yeah, looks like things might be different this time round.

Personally I'm just glad it's not like GTA4 where you couldn't have epic chases because all the cars handled like boats and you died almost instantly on foot.
