EvilDeathBeesays...I just don't get the appeal of drag racing, especially with super fast cars. Blink and it's over.
At least with slower cars, there can be some give and take and the outcome isn't always decided in the first few seconds (although usually is), but you spill your beer or something, then look back up, it's over.
However, that was a spectacular crash. Glad he's alright.
Gutspillersays...The engine, however, did not do its job.
Harzzachsays...The safety cage of his car did. Which is why he just walked away from this crash.

Gutspillersays...Yes, but if the engine did its job, that wouldn't have even been a factor. True some things went right, but if the engine did it's job, a lot of those things wouldn't of had to have had a "job".

aimpointsays...I thought the same way until I went in person. Its not something I could ever enjoy on TV as you miss out on all the noise and sensation that goes on. Its one of those things thats there every now and then to mix up life experiences.

oritteroposays...308mph doesn't sound fast until you convert to kmh and find it's 495.7.
