Controversial Calvin Klein advertising

Sometime in the 90s these ads were pulled from the air. They were found to be offensive by some people.

Definitely pedophile, creepy as it was meant to be/look.
But banned by who?

I definitely don't know what they are trying to prove by these commercials though, They sure don't make a person attracted to the product, if anything, they would repulse/creep out the consumer more than anything. There is nothing that would make me want to go out and buy the product. If anything, I would root through my closet and throw out anything that said Calvin Cline and garbage it so I wouldn't be associated to this kind of creepyness and bad taste.
This commercial is definitely "Not Cool"!

Well, technically, the government bans stuff. Networks just refuse to run commercials; that doesn't make them banned, it just means that the networks don't want that material on their airwaves.

I dunno, I kind of like them. I suppose I can imagine how people would think they're creepy, but it looks like a pretty standard 'modeling job interview' type situation to me.

That one girl needs to gain some weight, stop shooting that dope or whatever, which has always been a creepy thing about Calvin Klein, but that's hardly unique to them.
