Colbert Report 9/4/2008 - Giuliani's Standup Act

Colbert covers another day at the RNC, with the highlight of Rudy Giuliani showing off his superior skills as a peoples' comedian. Stephen also interviews a young wannabe conservative pundit Adam Brickley who explains how he influenced the direction of American politics from his mom's house.

Yup, this segment is *blocked as usual (don't know in which parts exactly, Northern Europe can see it fine). That doesn't stop it from being the best Colbert Report piece I've ever seen, though.

Lieberman: "Well, let's assume the best... let's assume that nothing bad will happen. Why should we?"

Wow. I can't imagine how assuming everything will go right could go wrong. I'd let that man run my business any day.

Fun fact for Mr. Huckabee: wars are a last resort because they're inherently destructive.

Those looking for the source of prosperity (desks) might do better to consider that "Science and technology have been responsible for half of the growth of the American economy since WWII." (Source: Obama's science policy(see heading "innovation"))

4/9/2008 = April 9, 2008
9/4/2008= September 2, 2008
hence "9/11"

that's about the most insular, smallminded and american comment you ever made! nice touch using 9/11 as an example! rofl!

fyi 2001-09-11 is a much better format, the Soviets didn't fuck around when it came to documentation... and the British method is only confusing because americans insist on putting things in the wrong order and telling the rest of the world to do the same
