Burning a Diamond in Pure Oxygen

The Royal Institution's 2012 Christmas Lectures, Dr Peter Wothers burns graphite and diamond in pure oxygen to demonstrate that both are forms of carbon.

He also demonstrates that diamonds aren't forever :)
