-best Batman on celluloid-

The best live-action Batman in film. While Batman Begins stands out as a great Batman movie, I believe Mask of the Phantasm stands right beside it, despite it being animated. Both are perfect examples of Batman done right in their own way.

i think this superhero movie beats any i've seen, the way they portrayed bruce as a character and his development, absolutely superb.

I thought this would be a shitty movie with some nun prancing around in a batman suit, but damn, way to 'become something more'. the use of stealth in the movie got my vote.

It's a darn good film and I have it on DVD, though it clearly could be better.
Bats is clearly depicted as a big guy in the comics and little old Bale doesn't really strike me as the right guy, though as the clip proves, along with others, he's a pretty good Bruce Wayne.

I often thought that Liam Neeson would be a good Batman, albeit an older one. He's possibly the best actor in this film as well.

I think this is the best existing Batman movie but they still screwed up quite a few things about the mythos. Mainly having Batman's identity being known to so many people, and Batman having so much assistance. Also the fact that they made it Gotham seem to revolve around Bruce Wayne... riding the Wayne monorail to Wayne towers, Raas Al Ghul burns down Wayne Manor, etc..

I thought the Himalayan Ninja Hotel bit was kind of random. Good flick overall tho.
