Who would win in a drag race between an Ariel Atom and a powerful snowmobile on an ice runway?
ACE Performance, the Northeast dealer of the Ariel Atom, partnered with Woody's Traction to bring you this showdown. We took the Ariel Atom, a track proven high performance supercar, out of its element, equipped it with Woody's Grip-It Twist Screws, and matched it against a Polaris 800 Rush Pro-S snowmobile. This unique contest called for a unique location, so we headed to the ice runway in Alton Bay, NH, the only FAA approved airport on ice in the contiguous United States. In between planes landing and taking off, we brought the Ariel Atom and snowmobile onto the ice runway and raced, reaching speeds of over 100mph.
Who won? You'll have to see for yourself.
