8 Movies That Were So Bad They Had To Cancel The Sequel

No one has higher hopes than the studio when it comes to a movie's franchise potential. If they sense a feature could be the start of something major, they might even green light a follow-up before the film even hits theaters. But in some cases, those sequel plans are embarrassingly premature. Here are some movies that were so bad, their sequels were actually canceled...
Paybacksays...

The biggest problem with all the movies listed was the fact you didn't give a shit about anyone in them. Writing was bad, direction was bland. Every single one.

I'm a fan of the first 3 Terminator movies but the one listed here was painful. I made it through the first 30 minutes before turning it off. It felt like Arnold was on SNL doing parody skits of his Terminator scenes.

Vexussays...

John Carter was a case of trying to shove too much into one movie, they took from the first 3-4 books IIRC, the writers of the adaptation were just bad. The source material is actually quite good, and I'd definitely recommend it, you can see a lot of modern sci fi coming from it. Tron 3 actually stopped production because of how bad John Carter was.

I still haven't seen that, but what about Salvation? I didn't like that one much.

Never saw that one. If it didn't have Arnold then I figured it wasn't worth watching. This last one pretty much debunked that notion.
