The mask is so he responds purely to vocal commands and not body language, reading lips, etc.

hmm...I don't like their characters or the style. It looks great, but I have my reservations about how this will turn out. I think they are going in the wrong direction for what I look for in Metroid...

Normally I really like Zach, but this was painful. He's either really stoned or really drunk or both and he barely makes any sense.

I've tried going balls out in my WRX on some dirt and gravel roads up in the mountains on the way to a hike or a river or whatever and it just doesn't work. I don't know how these guys do it. Anything over 30 mph or so is nearly a death wish for me.
