Cat and Dolphins playing together

enon says...

QFT, I was about to say the same thing-- if you have the stomach for it, definitely a worth while watch.
>> ^kceaton1:

It needs to be said a billion times. Dolphins are awesome MAMMALS.
/"The Cove" (it's a good documentary, but fair warning: Dolphins die...--Netflix has it) will leave you wishing you had a personal army for that shit...

TED Talks: Cory Doctorow talks on kids and privacy

enon says...

I feel this is very important conversation people should be having with their kids, not only because posting "everything" on facebook is detrimental behavior, but because privacy in general seems to be less and less of a concern in everyday life. Basically grooming the system till its ripe for abuse.

Crazy Driver Intentionally Hits Cyclists

enon says...

Awww, I think you're just jealous cause you're too fat to ride a bike
>> ^Darkhand:

It was only a matter of time before something like this happened.
Some of these rally's are peaceful but I can tell you as a motorist I'd be really REALLY pissed off if I got stuck behind a bunch of cyclists blocking the road. All of these people could take up one lane, but no, they choose to take up the entire street. Who cares about people that have to get to work? The buses carrying the masses maybe to the THEIR jobs, or home to their families? No, lets prove a point by completely stopping a major form of transportation.
I'm sorry but these people deserve what they got and I hope it happens at more of these gatherings where they block whole intersections and lanes of traffic.
I support everyones freedom to transport themselves anyway they want. I believe wherever possible we should have lanes that support cyclists. But this is NOT the way to do it.

Alternative Medicine Medic...

enon says...

So then she refers ALL her patients to "real" doctors?

>> ^bareboards2:

I'm not sure what you mean, but I am 99.9999% sure it was meant to be sarcastic.
My best friend for the past 20 years is a homeopathic physician. I know for a fact she refers patients to "regular" doctors.
She is, as I originally said, a responsible alternative health practitioner.
So yeah. It happens.
And this vid is hysterically funny.
>> ^rottenseed:
>> ^bareboards2:
Responsible alternative health practitioners understand that there is a time for allopathic medicine.
And this is hysterical.

Yea: Always.

teaparty candidates deny seperation of church and state

enon says...

Who do you think you're fooling WP? This is videosift, not youtube and most sifters are well informed and certainly know the proper reasoning of the first amendment. It's correct interpretation is exactly how Cenk stated, which makes perfect sense since many of the founders were agnostic at best.

As far as Cenk being on MSNBC I really don't mind. I watch shows not the channels.

>> ^Winstonfield_Pennypacker:

Sigh - typical MSN hack job. The Tea Party guys saying "seperation of church & state" is not in the constitution are absolutely correct, especially in relationship to how left-wing douchebags like the YTs perceive the issue. Cenk is an idiot. The 1st Ammendment is there to prevent the Federal government from establishing a state religion. At the time of drafting, the individual states had official STATE religions, and the states were worried that the establishment of a federal government would create a national religion (which they were against). To the Founders, the 1st Ammendment was a simple limitation put on the FEDERAL government to stop it from making a law establishing a state religion, and also to stop it from passing ANY law that limits the people's right to exercise whatever religion they had in any way they see fit. The problem here is that the far left's interpretaion of the 1st Ammendment in regards to religion is very different than that, and they keep trying to convince other stupid far left fools that their idiot vision is the one the founders had.

Go ! Bwaaah ! (3 seconds)

enon says...

Here's how I look at it, I'd laugh if it happened to any one of my younger siblings (it's cool the opposite is true). She wasn't run over by a tractor and she'll certainly live, just chill out...

I don't care whether you are a sadistic bastard blankfist or that you have moderator priveledges or the silver tongued award given to you on a consistent basis. Your comments are atrocious. Someday you will remember this comment when your child (planned or not) smashes their perfect little face on the pavement and requires reconstructive surgery and a couple years of dental work for the replacement of cracked teeth inside her mouth. And when it does happen and you think to yourself that you had heard the sound of another child's head hitting the ground before, remember your commentary. I hope you remember this rant. For those who up-voted this video, you should be ashamed and disgusted with the apathy that has taken hold in your hearts and minds. I have to say this really makes me question the ethics of video sift letting this get on the board, as it is cruel and not representative of anyone with a moral compass.
