how can anyone be surprised that a "star" from such a show as Jersey Shore is like that? Isn't being THAT guy what brought him into the limelight in the first place? This guy is the reason Congress should be discussing Eugenics... Get him and the whole show the hell off our televisions!

This line has always resonated with me, particularly when I see these kinds of xenophobic protests in America (Tea Party) or Germany (Neo Nazis) or elsewhere. America seems intent in proving that it got things wrong... be it national pride, health care, education, the environment, banking, mortgages, the stock market... And still, we follow.

Given that I just watched the video on Reagonomics (http://videosift.com/video/Reaganomics-Sucked-Wealth-Up-Did-Not-Trickle-It-Down), it is difficult to not question the values that modern western societies are built on.

In my opinion, this type of interview is where Jon falls down as being a voice that challenges the people that he has such access to. There were a number of openings when he could have called TBP on these questionable claims of his. It feels like not just an opportunity wasted, but so wasted that it, for most of the interview, lent credibility to these silly theories.
