Never buy an American hooker.

Ha! That reminds me of a story from the Navy days... although I did change the names. Out of habit, I guess?

We were down in Curacao (beautiful place!) for a couple of days. We had a great time. One of the days, around 6 of us spent most of the day at the blackjack table with the casino politely paying us to continue to play. Of course they were not so happy with us. After having them pay us for 6 to 8 hours, we called it quits. I was ready to go to bed after smoking and drinking all day long, but a couple guys decided to head out. In the morning, we heard they stopped off at the whorehouse. (Prostitution is legal in Curacao.) After finding this out, my good buddy Sam, who didn't go out after the casino either, looked at Danny, "Tell me that you didn't buy a woman last night!" Danny looked up with pained expression of a hangover doing its work, "No. No, I didn't buy a woman last night... but I rented two!"

Aren't memories funny things?

Every time I hear the word conjunction, I immediately think and sing the line from that dancing vegetable with a top hat and cane, "Conjunction junction, what's your function?"

Website Uses BitCoin To Sell Drugs Online!

curiousity says...

There is also e-Gold and its various similar services which are used in a similar transactions. I don't think you will find a online drug bazaar for those... or at not one that I know of.

Quote:
Jeff Garzik, a member of the Bitcoin core development team, says in an email that bitcoin is not as anonymous as the denizens of Silk Road would like to believe. He explains that because all Bitcoin transactions are recorded in a public log, though the identities of all the parties are anonymous, law enforcement could use sophisticated network analysis techniques to parse the transaction flow and track down individual Bitcoin users.

"Attempting major illicit transactions with bitcoin, given existing statistical analysis techniques deployed in the field by law enforcement, is pretty damned dumb," he says.

And here is a source about how to be more anonymous while using BitCoin:

Okay, I looked at his dick. DON'T JUDGE ME!

Actually that is quite common.

I've been reading up on usability (more specifically web-related.) One of the authors runs his own company for this and use eye-tracking software as they run user through usability testing. You end up with "heat patterns" showing how the person's eyes move around the page. Your lingering (perhaps wistful?) look's commonality was among one of the more surprising finds.

Just playing about the wistful.

When bullied kids snap...

curiousity says...

In elementary school, I was bullied by a kid like this. Most of the time it was verbal abuse, but one day he jumped on my back and put me in a choke hold. I slammed him against the brick wall until he fell to the ground. He never bothered me again. Sometimes bullies will continue their bullying until you stand up for yourself. Although I will not cheer for what happened, the bully can't complain when their subject reaches their limit and strikes back.

While the Unreal Engine 3 has been quite open for modders to tinker around with, the ability to publish and sell games made using UE3 was restricted to licensees of the engine. However, on November 2009, Epic released a free version of their engine, called the Unreal Developer Kit (UDK), that is available to the general public. According to the current EULA, game makers can sell their games by paying Epic the cost of $99 USD at the outset, and 25% of all revenue above $50000 USD.[15] In addition, in the December 2010 release of UDK, it now comes with support of creating iOS games.
