Ya know, I was listening to this (not watching) and was thinking, "I'm just not sure if this is real or not..." Sure, it's a "laughable" voiceover, but I just wasn't convinced that a network wouldn't actually run something like that...

I had to check the tags.

It's really a very simple answer.

It's only a "debate" if there are two (not one, two!) reasonable sides to the argument. There is no reasoned argument to religion and hence no "debate" can ensue.

The other thing is if the average American saw the same type of video about a Muslim religious camp, they'd think it was the most outrageous, religious fundamentalist act of terrorism "training future jihadists" or some other bullshit.

Really, this had more of a cult like vibe than any sort of "normal" religious movement.

But sadly, the description of the video is correct, it shows us the irrational people of tomorrow. Sure, not all of them will grow up and keep the same views (or in fact will decide that they were just swept up in the mob mentality - not to be discounted), but it always amazes me when I see stuff like this and think it's 2009!
