I don't like the idea of loosing general channels to describe Sifts - as the Collectives are either too wide or too specific. Plus a large amount of Sifts are never classified correctly within them anyway (if they're in one at all). I see this causing more friction between collectives in the future...everything else sounds good though!

Although the stats are slightly skewed, due to quality Sift Talk posts adding to the rating; and negative votes on published Sifts counting to the total too!

Even I (the former Sift statistician) don't have those figures to hand!

Good suggestion - I hadn't thought about it before, but I tend to do the same (miss vids due to comment reading). *Quality idea Ren with the optional comment scroll (or possibly an optional CSS fixed position video?)
