The evidence supports that, what with the number of police raids that take place over youtube footage. Seriously, these guys are clearly right across the street from the other guy who was detained. They are even heard commenting on the other guy ("look at this dude"). They can also be heard yelling at the cops to warn them that the dog is out and running up on them. The cops knew they were there and exactly what was going on.

So much no, this was irresponsible pet owner who was very close to a police raid (as is obviously evident by the number of cars and the assault weapon that is clearly visible around 3:00). The police are detaining him likely until they can ensure that he is not attempting to cause problems. Notice how the guys across the street from the guy being detained were fine continuing to record, were allowed to take the video away (despite showing a cop shooting a dog).

The dog did not deserve to be placed in a situation. But with your argument, if I saw a friend getting arrested I am entitled to charge cops and not get tazed or shot? To hell with that. But you know, its cool to blame cops whenever people do something dumb, illegal, or dangerous. Its cool to give them a hard time when they are trying to do their job and you know, protect someone.

My understanding of star wars lore is that Sith use red lightsabers because the grow artificial crystals for their lightsabers, which only grow red (or red hues). Jedi use crystals that grow naturally, and thus have a much larger variety of colors (with some being rarer than others). Their is no logical restriction that says a Sith MUST use a red crystal, or that Jedi MUST use blue or green. I'd imagine that by lore, you would have to say that purple crystals are just super rare and that Windu being such an influential Jedi managed to get one of the rare few.

This war on Cops is not going to end well. If people continue to harass cops someone is going to get shot. You take a person in a high stress job where every traffic stop has the potential to end your life (especially in cities like Detroit) and then you get assholes who want to follow you around waiting for you to have to arrest someone so that they declare you being excessive. The kid got exactly what he wanted, he made a cop angry so that he could film some police "aggression", all while staying just enough on the right side of the law that the cop was helpless to do anything.
