AVAILABLE NOW! Jason Mattera's New Book: "Obama Zombies"

Nithern says...

Mr. Franken *DID* smack down this guy. The man asked a question that was incorrect to begin with. It was based on incorrect reading of the passage. Then, he tried to interupt Mr. Franken on several times just as the man is thinking of how to explain and explain it. Maybe, this man should get a wife and have a kid, before asking what the benefits are of breast-feeding and jungle gyms. He shows how clueless he really is of his own question.

10 Badassest Jumps in History of Ever

Nithern says...

Jackie Chan didn't make this list at all?!?!?!!?

Clock Tower Tumble, 3:08. Yes, no net, no parachute, not even bags. Just hard, solid ground. And he didn't do it just once, but four times! You have to be pretty baddassed, to do that stunt, more then once. On the last drop, he broke five ribs and an injury to his head.

Or even, Rumble in the Bronx...

This list isnt complete, without Jackie Chan.

Ron Paul: Obama Is Not a Socialist

Nithern says...

Are Republicans STILL trying to be useful and relevant to the United States of America? You'd think that after losing the Office of the President, and both sections of Congress, they might learn their 'values' and 'ethics' leave alot to be desired. Frankly, the Republicans are more deep seated with corporations then Democrats by a factor of 5:1. They always have been.

GOP Threatens to Filibuster Yet-to-be-named SCOTUS Nominee

Nithern says...

How is this news? Do we get updated on news programs when a congressman goes to the bathroom? When he eats his lunch? Whether is car keys are in his left or right pockets? Of course not, its not news-worthy, because it happens all the time. Likewise, whether the Republicans will filibuster or not, isn't news-worthy. They will automatically filibuster, regardless of the subject or person being voted on.

Now, if they came forward, and didn't filibuster, and actually had some good things to say of the person or bill, THAT, would be news-worthy. If they came up with bills that actually help all Americans, and not just the upper 3%, THAT, would be news-worthy.

Until November rolls around, Republicans are automatically oppositing ANYTHING the Democrats propose or vote on, without question or hestiation.

O'Reilly vs. Weiner

Nithern says...

Do remeber, that Fox News, is NOT a credible news source. It only gives correct facts, when it benefits the Republican Party, and incorrect, if not total lies, when it doesnt. That said...

If your actually concern on what the Health Care Reform bill states, to a personal income tax form for next year (as the tax part issues will not take effect until next year's income taxes). You should consult with a CPA, an accredible tax preparer, or any of several goverment agencies paid for by your tax dollars. Like the IRS(www.irs.gov), or the US Chamber of Commerce(www.uschamber.gov), or even The Small Business Administration (www.sba.gov). Even lawyers whom handle tax matters, could answer a question here or there.

Just dont accept what Fox News says at face value. They have long lost the right to be declared a 'credible news source'. Mr. O'Reilly, really is incorrect on much of what he said. No one at Fox News will challenge, or correct him. Nor will he, himself admit, that he knows less then Mr. Weirner does. Just remeber, if it benefits Republicans, Fox News will get the facts totally correct. If it doesn't, Fox News will make up data, polls, and figures to put the GOP in the best possible light.

If all else fails, look it up in history. The one thing Fox News cant change to its political whim, is history.

HCR Aftermath: Thanking Staffers, Remembering Kennedy

Nithern says...

And THAT folks, is the caliber of person, who can bring a major institution, of a major goverment, to a halt, ponder, and pray, on a good reason. Mr. Kennedy is soarly missed in my state. The guy filling his shoes, isn't even one billionth, the man, Mr. Kennedy was on his bad days, let alone his good ones. He would have been very happy to see that bill passed. And I've no doubt, Heaven smiled upon our great nation when it did.

Cantor, Fox Spread Impluasible Story of Gun Attack

Nithern says...

Yes, always remeber...When Fox News reports 'news', to ALWAYS, ALWAYS, check with a more credible news source. When was the last time Fox News (aka GOP News), got something right, that DIDN'T promote the Republican party? I think back in 1982....

Obama Confronts Heckler Demanding Public Option

Nithern says...

Actually, they did try to get it to in the bill. You can thank the GOP, and those 'blue dog' Democrats for keeping it out. I'm sure we have all watched, just how 'grateful' Republicans are, that the bill was passed. I'm sure they are a 'noble', and 'generous' people, these Republicans, to make sure its included fairly 'soon' in another bill on health care. What's more important to Republicans? Money or the nation's health?

Limbaugh Vows to Flee the Country If Health Care Passes

Nithern says...

He'll leave the country and be someone else's problem? If we pass health care? So, my fellow Americans get the same coverage I have in MA (which is pretty damn good), AND, we get rid of a sorry excuse for a human being? What's the catch?

David Corn Gets Passionate About Rove's/Bush's Lies

Nithern says...

If George W. Bush didn't lie about WMD's in Iraq, then maybe him, or Karl Rove, can do the following for us Americans:

1) The EXACT location of every WMD, down the square milimeter.
2) The EXACT type of WMD (Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological).
3) Who, located it, when, how.
4) Was this part of the material Saddam showed the world just three months before the invasion?

Yes, we didn't find any nuclear, chemical or biolgoical weapons of mass destruction. Karl Rove, is KNOWN to lie on many, many, things. Why should anyone accept that he's telling the 100% truth now? Would you believe, someone who has been a pathological liar their entire life?

There's a word that best discribes Republicans existance for the last ten years: Irresponsible!
