Crazy awesome fight scene from THE RAID

Locque says...

Any movie can be intelligent or stupid, but some abstain, I guess like a state of amorality, asexuality (or indeed, atheism). It's without an intelligence quotient. I'm okay when my action movie is brainless- it's an action movie, I generally don't watch them to engage my brain on a deeper level, the same way I don't drink red wine for breakfast. It's when a movie actively insults your intelligence (a la Fast Five) I have a problem with it.

Total Recall (2012) - full trailer

I'm all for making a more faithful/cerebral version of schwarzenegger's dumbathon, always thought recall with him in it was a tragic waste. While I actually love CGI soaked violence, this does look to be a little tastelessly deployed. Could still be good though.

Beat me by 90 seconds. I hate VS's hop jumping typing confirmation sometimes, when you're distracted it takes too long

That's why I put it in with the bare minimum of stuff, then once it's saved, modify it to put in the details

The TYT crew missed an important part of the 911 call.
I missed it too--a YouTube comment pointed this out.
At 2:19 you can hear Zimmerman say under his breath, "fucking coons."

That sure will get noticed in court though.... err, I hope. The publicity around this thing has made it too dangerous to ignore. Too many people want to watch this guy go down so now they can't bury it.
God damnit I meant that to be in thread. ooops.

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a mall in Beijing, I walked into a little cafe off the food court, and there were lots of young folks playing the game. Some of them were probably over 18. They didn't strike me as dorkish either.
When I was in my late teens/early 20s, I played. I was pretty thin back then.>> ^Payback:
Is there anyone under 250lbs yet over 18 that has ever played Magic the Gathering?

Speaking as a nerd who just got back from a weekend convention where people were playing M:tG, absolutely agreed. One thing I do always notice is how unfit people at cons generally are, but that stereotype is broken quite frequently too- there is no shortage of people who are a healthy weight or even athletic, just a total surplus of unfit, overweight people. Mind you, that was at the con as a whole, I didn't survey the M:tG players on their own or anything. Nerds really live up to or embody negative stereotypes more often than I can sometimes believe, but there really are a bunch out there who you might not even know are nerds unless you specifically bring the topic up, and others that manage to not fall into not fall into the negative behaviors or traits associated with nerdity.

I think it lends considerable credibility to the act when he has a physique that instantly recalls endless hours spent in front of a tv or pc. You know that he's a hgue nerd, so believing he's some kind of socially inept manchild is much easier. I know an act when I see one though. Usually. The voice is just a step too far.

I have no idea how that part works, if I'm being brutally honest. Shouldn't siftbot be along in just a second to tell me to go fuck myself or something?

Edit: Ah, there he is. Fine, I'll vote up my own video then. Gosh.

They tried, and had every right to do so. But Lincoln and Friends, right or wrong, waged war to stop them. Now, of course, we have a gigantic, out-of-control federal leviathan, just like the South a-feared. Enjoy!
As for the rest of it, different beliefs for everyone, my friends. It would be nice for the left if the Kenyawaiian had NO ties to islam, but even though these snippets in this video lack context, why do they exist at all?
Obama is likely a closet atheist, but who knows?
Californian idiots keep voting in socialists over and over again even as their economy atrophies and illegal immigration runs rampant. There are actual numbers to demonstrate this, but they conflict with the leftist "belief system".
Intolerance is a staple of the left as much as the right. Same concept, different targets.

>> ^Locque:
If the South wants to secede, I think they should be allowed to do so.

I think equating Chuck Norris and friends' cries for secession in the modern era to the situation in the civil war is kinda silly. It would be like blaming the modern day church for the crusades.

Also, you seem to realise claims that he's a muslim are completely fucking stupid, but you are extremely consistent in refusing the acknowledge the wrongs of the right (I've been reading your posts for years dude, old hat)

I think it's fallacious to accuse the left of being as intolerant as the right. There is an unbelievable history among the left of idiocy, hypocrisy, failure, and all that other good stuff, but racism and bigotry are absolutely the territory of the right. Fascistic political correctness and a refusal to acknowledge existing problems are more the political left's tools of the trade.

On the whole though, i feel chuffed. Does being on the receiving end of one of QM's posts mean I've arrived? WILL VIDEOSIFT NOTICE ME NOW?
