100 days of "Fair & Balanced"

No, I don't take digs at Americans. You're right though, about O'Reilly viewers not representing the majority. But there is a problem there, and I had to point that out.

100 days of "Fair & Balanced"

GuyIncognito says...

Yes, we all know how "Fair & Balanced" Fox News is. Question though.

How many of you watch the Fox Broadasting Corporation? You know, crap like House and 24... How many of you saw The Simpsons Movie in theatres?

See folks, your eyes are worth advertising dollars. The same man who profits from Fox News, also profits from the fucking shit you people eat up. Right?

That's the thing that bothers here. Right after you rag on Fox News, you fucking upvote Jack Bauer. Or you sit your fat ass down and watch American Idol. Don't you see how ridiculous that is? You despise Fox News, but gladly fork your money (your eyes) over to the man who is responsible for this disgusting farce.

If you hate what Fox News has done to your democracy, hate the deception and lies, take a fucking stand against the people who run the network. Take a stand against Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. Write letters to the companies advertising with them. Tell them you won't purchase their products because you don't want your money to fund that propaganda machine. Don't fucking watch that new Twentieth Century Fox Film. Until you make that small sacrifice, YOU ARE ALL FUCKING PATHETIC HYPOCRITES.

Eden of the East (東のエデン Higashi no Eden) OP

From Production IG, the Japanese anime studio behind the Ghost in the Shell series, comes Eden of the East. The opening sequence uses a combination of CG, kinetic typography, and traditional animation. Through AnimeSuki, which links to all unlicensed English anime fansubs available through the P2P file swarming application BitTorrent, you can follow Eden of the East each Friday. So far, this series has been pretty amazing.

American funding facilitated his rise. Your contribution to the Afghan jihad against Soviet ideology was significant. These people served your economic interest at one point in time, and they were eventually discarded. These are beasts that you created. Unfortunately, blowback can be a bitch. I'm sorry if you can't swallow that.

Okay bcglorf, while the CIA may never been in direct contact with Bin Laden, it spent up to $630 million a year funding the Afghan Mujahideen.

I don't want to waste any more of my time, but you clearly need to learn more about the Soviet war in Afghanistan and Al-Qaeda.

Unfortunately Payback, you are wrong. America's values ARE represented by its foreign policies. Your elected officials and the foreign policy decisions they make, represent your nation. They represent your present day values. I can't occupy my neighbours home, take his property, and then claim these actions do not represent my values. Osama Bin Laden struck the greatest of all American values, the persuit of your own self-interest. If this were not the case, then why maintain a military empire supporting that wealth? The Berlin Wall has long fallen. Osama was created to serve your own economic interest. Don't have any illusions.
