I watched this the first time a few minutes (and a tall boy) after being locked in a mini-mart after a shooting. As much as I abhor violence. I think those kids needed to take down the one with the gun before things got even more out of hand. You've got a better chance after being beaten not shot.

I keep coming back to this. That song and eerie feeling keeps coming back. This video pretty much covers what I remember being a small child felt like; several hours drug around monstrosities by Mom(yes, I remember adults, especially the menace known as "strangers" as monstrosities), then something creepy with furries on TV, followed by a bizarre trippy experience I don't quite understand to be a dream.

Oh and "zit", "boil" and "abscess" are all terms relative to size. Most zits, be it face, back, or scalp acne are mild staph infections. When the skin traps oil on its own you tend to get cysts. They tend not to swell quite as much and when you purge them its more like oil or a waxy clump. When its a combination of natural skin oils and staphococci bacteria, a mild infection or zit results. If the immune system is unable to deal with the infection in its own, you tend to get boils and abcesses. Go bad skin and cosmetology school!( half of skincare class was recognizing common problems and knowing when to say "sory, you'll need to talk to a doctor about that.")

I don't think that anyone said that women are inherently weak. I was explaining to imstellar the reason that most of us feel the way we do about the "we don't hit girls" attitude. I said that women are smaller and weaker on average. Others have said that this particular woman is smaller and weaker than the man assaulting her.
And, yes, all gender issues aside, the violence should not have occurred.

The ability to defend one's self isn't 100% tied to size and physical strength. Certain styles of martial arts actually work better for smaller than average people. The basic skills needed to to defend one's self can be learned by a majority of people. So, while I can understand how traditional roles encourage the delicate flower stereotype (I too tend to get more disgusted when I see a woman being harmed), I tend consider defenselessness to be a choice.

As a woman that bothered to go out and learn to defend herself I call bullshit on this women are inherently weak crap. Should this situation have happened? No. Why? Because violence has no place in a civilized society.

There was no attempt to 'pry' his mouth open. His hand on his throat was to prevent him from swallowing. You don't stick your fingers in the mouth of a tweaked out meth head who is already trying to resist you... all you get is your fingers bitten off and hepatitis for your trouble.
I'm sorry, did I miss the part where the coroner listed "asphyxiation" as a cause of death? No because he was not applying enough force to prevent breathing.
This fat meth'd out tub of shit died because his plugged up heart gave out during the struggle HE caused.

As I said before, if you're so angry as to wish death as a punishment for disobedience and a victemless crime go get counseling. Its unhealthy, and quite frankly disturbing.

Maybe the cops should reconsider the use of tasers in the first place. It seems like every time I turn around some video or another crops up where a cop uses a taser and something goes horribly wrong. Yet despite all of the things that can go wrong( i.e heart attacks, a prong penetrating the skull) they seem to be treated as being about as benign as a can of mace.

Also, why couldn't he have let her go and maybe call one of his buddies to round her up? She's a 14 year old girl, she probably would have either come back once she calmed down or run to a friend/family member's house.

I'm kinda at a loss...but I can see the appeal in the make-up guides...just not my thing.
