Seriously, if you are unable to read between the lines and understand even rudimentary irony. If everything has to be so precisely worded that no ambiguity of thought, or meaning, can enter your thought process, maybe you should not comment until you can do so. Or maybe all you crave is argument for arguments sake. Whatever the case, I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain a comment which is, to the vast majority, self explanatory.

Well, my friend, that is precisely because his opinions never change. The west, and everything it has achieved or stands for - especially the USA - is, according to him the great evil. So why would my comments be amended?
Btw, your points; 1,2,3 are exactly what one would expect from a Chomskey devotee.
Of course I watch the videos. Though I must admit it is more for the soporific tone of his voice than his lazy defeatist opinion. Also, I doubt that reading one of his books would better explain his points. Rather, I would imagine they go into even greater unnecessary detail of his already well known views.
Finally; thank you for your concern, but I can assure you, I am far from being confused regarding Chomskey or, in fact, your good self, who derides my repeated criticism yet insists on posting the same anti-establishment videos.

Another rant from the harbinger of doom. I believe his followers gain succour from his dystopian views because it gives them an excuse for the shortcomings in their own lives. OK, that's a bit strong, but the fact is, no matter what figures you want to analyze, never in history have humans been so fortunate both in health and general well being. Generally, each generation lives longer, is better cared for and enjoys a better quality of life than the last. Is it perfect? No. Will it ever be? Probably not. Do we care enough about our third world cousins? Again, probably not.
I never quite "get" what Chomsky's real problem is. Is it Multinationals? Media? Government? Corporations? It seems to be all of these, and a whole lot more. North Korea would be a good place for him to rail against evidential control, injustice and a true dystopian existence. Here we are allowed to take advantage of education, free thought and certain rights. In short, to make the best of things. I suggest he, and his followers, do the same. Moaning on, and on, and on about this awful, oppressive existence we suffer in the west, really gains no sympathy from people who live in places where they would love the chances Chomsky seems to take for granted.

This simple, but beautiful message transcends race, creed and colour, it should be shown - regularly - to every child on the planet. This form of brainwashing - unlike the religious sort - is a doctrine we should embrace.

Sadly - because we were driving so slow - the patient died. The dog, however, is happier than ever with us, his new pals.

By rejecting the bad, and embracing the good, Humans can be such wonderful beings when they choose to be.

I can only assume you are joking. Brand was WAY out of his depth. In fact, much as I dislike the pseudo revolutionary, vainglorious half wit, I actually felt sorry for him. He was put firmly in his place by one astute person; "If you think you can, why don't you stand (for election)?" His response; " Mate, I'm frightened I'd become one of them." So, he doesn't even have confidence in his own childish rhetoric. He calls for anarchy just as long as he is not at the helm. He should put up, or shut up. Oh, and his call for people not to vote is one of the stupidest, most irresponsible things I have heard in a while.

Two points; The cost of hiring a person and second, who would want a boring job like that? Almost as mind numbing as being a greeter at Walmart.Like it or not these things - and robots - are the future. I don't like the idea, but too late now.

The Faith of my father, is not my faith. He allowed me to make my own mind up about Gods and creation by drawing on education, observation, free thought and my own experiences. In fact, he was adamant that the indoctrination of children into ANY religion or belief system was tantamount to child abuse. I often wonder how I would have turned out if he had not been so enlightened. I owe him my independence, for which I will be eternally grateful.
