In honor of the upcoming VideoSift version 5 (to be unveiled at a date yet to be determined), we're having a contest. Here's how to enter the contest:

• submit a video some time after this announcement
• the video description must include a link to this post
• you must link to your video in this post
• someone in the video must clearly and audibly speak the word FIVE
• the video must be in the published state when 11:59:59pm PDT arrives on Sept. 9, 2012

Now let's talk turkey. The awards will be doled out as follows:

• First Place goes to the qualifying video that earns the most votes. The winner gets their choice of anything from the VideoSift Exclusives in the Sift Shop plus a VideoSift coffee mug. (In the event of a tie, the earliest submitted post wins.)
• Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Place go to the qualifying video posts that generate the most comments plus comment up-votes. Comments by siftbot or the post submitter will not be counted. Comments count as 1. Comment up-votes count as 1.5. These winners will get a VideoSift coffee mug!
• In addition, all winners will have early beta access to VideoSift v5!
