they would have had to have touched it up a bit , as the fake head had no mass to it and looked very plastic y whence it was on the floor.

When they did the shot it was a fake head on a stick with green screen, and this was the touched up shot.

Me too, but they had to leave it on the cutting head floor.

I'm sure the arterial gush of blood would've been added in post production, but the body remained standing for far too long.

It was cool that they didn't use any cliche squelchy/whooshy sound effects though, sword aren't exactly cricket bats - not a lot of air and matter gets smashed around by 'em.
