preparation of the new upcoming star trek film,i give you
quite possibly the best starship battle,and in my opinion the best star trek movie ever.
ok,so there is a huge parallel between this movie and moby dick.so call me ishmael.
captain kirk + khan + music by james horner=teh AWESOME!
this puts to rest the old star trek vs star wars debate,and while i do love the star wars franchise.
star trek has KIRK,star wars?
jar-jar binks...nuff said.

Ordered it on Netflix for next week. Hope there's some good commentary on it, too.

First of the original Star Trek movies I ever watched. Thought it was quite good. Imagine my disappointment when I watched Search for Spock

This scene does everything right: from the way the ships dance around each other, Montalban's campy acting, and the extreme closeup of Kirk saying "fire!" Great stuff.

Even adjust for inflation, this movie had less than 1/6th the budget of Into Darkness and it's so much better than anything J.J. Abhrams has done.
