Jon Stewart on Wednesday found respite from all the GOP lawmakers and Fox News talking heads downplaying the Senate torture report in an unlikely source: Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).
Stewart slammed the report's critics, and took former Bush spokeswoman Nicolle Wallace to task for saying that any debate about the report has the potential to endanger American lives abroad.
"The Daily Show" host did manage to find one ray of hope in the report's release: the return of "Good McCain."
"Did the straight-talk express just pull into truth town?" he said before listening to McCain's Tuesday speech against torture on the Senate floor.
"I should probably be depressed that someone in the government deserves massive applause for saying we shouldn't torture people and that we should find out about it, but I'm still just so happy that someone actually said it -- John McCain forever!" he said.

speechlesssays...Ok, to quickly clear up some controversy here:
There was a photo quality print of jellybeans lining the inside of the jar. So it looked like a full jar of jellybeans from the outside. BUT, there were only FIVE actual jellybeans on the inside! Pretty clever imo.
The card trick thing is still kind of a mystery though.

StormsingerIt's really rather disturbing to hear McCain being reasonable. Then I remember than he's not running for president any more, and that if he should ever do so again, we'll get to see the slimy politician again as he throws all principles under the bus.
