That woman could surely use a bicycle. Her car will just eat money, and if she ever gets it fixed expose her to new realms of harassment by authority. Either she thinks it's beneath her (might be mistaken for a Dominican immigrant or something), or it's just a failure of imagination (happens in all classes).
