At any rate, I call BS on this video and it is a clever marketing video.

That may be true, joedirt, but what about the kid's talent? Maybe the toy company is taking advantage, but, wow, this kid is a prodigy.

It looks pretty amazing, but there is something odd going on with the kids hands. There is never a shot of his whole body while painting, only closeups.

Something just isn't right.

Why not show the whole kid while painting?

uh.... you guys seriously think that this little guy painted these? Editing and the off camera hand of an adult made these paintings.

The video is semi-professional with many, many cuts, and most of the video is just hands (over shoulder shot) or kids face. Only time the kid is shown painting zoomed out is the upper left colors, and some general "finger" painting where he is smashing Michaengelo's snout in..

just to flog this a little bit more, on a second viewing I noticed that the "hand" painting does not move it's fingers, it not really the kids hand at all, but a "kid hand" brush, if you will. That along with the tag at the end directing you to a weblink... viral marketing ploy anyone?
