As brain dead as this guy appears to be, he's almost right on a few points. While we definitely need to cut back on our use of fossil fuels and invent cleaner running vehicles and vehicles that run on renewable resources, it's not only Co2 emissions that have caused a climate shift as of late. It's certainly a factor, but Co2 emissions have become the whipping boy of global warming lately. The last few years, Co2 emissions have gone down overall worldwide. China is producing more than before, but just about everyone else is producing less. This resulted in a drop in total emissions globally. However the temperature is still climbing because of other factors. Methane emissions is a factor, as is just the natural climate change the Earth goes through every few hundred years.

Humans have definitely effected the climate on earth in many ways, but its not only Co2 to blame. It'd just be nice to focus on the other causes so we can start repairing them as well.

"Co2" will get you an F on a chemistry exam. So just to get this straight you're defending CO₂ emissions as a major culprit in the acceleration of a naturally occurring Earth-wide warming cycle and your argument is that there are other factors? I think the point of "attacking" the compound is that it's one of the few compounds we are partly responsible for. This is because CO₂ is usually a product of our energy conversion. Your other "whipping boy", methane, would be considered a reactant in the conversion into usable energy. In other words, we WANT methane so that we can create energy. Sadly, by reducing naturally occurring methane sources, and converting it into energy, we'd be producing more CO₂.
