There will be prosecutions but not in the next few years but let's say 20 years from now and ecveryone will confirm that these guys ruined the american empire...

wich is a bad thing ....

It's disgusting how lazy bigoted neocons are too lazy to see what a horrible mess the Bush administration has been.

"Among the approximately two dozen Uyghur detainees in Guantanamo, the Washington Post reported on August 25, 2005, that fifteen had been determined not to have been "enemy combatants." (Source)

It's disgusting how fat-headed bigots have ruined America's moral standing in the world thanks to their racist, short-sighted stupidity.

To me, this is really the most important thing Democrats should be focusing on. They couldn't campaign on it, and they shouldn't demagogue the point and try to taint all Republicans with it, but they need to launch a serious criminal investigation into this stuff, and get us an unbiased answer from a court.

Until they do, these last 8 years will be a stain on our reputation both at home and abroad, and one no one will ignore or forget.

Holy smokes? FIFTEEN? When it gets up to 3000 killed by pig jihadists, ring the bell.

Eight years to undo Bush's "damage"? We're still not over FDR, LBJ and Carter's.

You just don't get it.

You have no concept of justice.

You...people like you...have brought us to where we are today.

It's heartwarming how liberal fascists are so adamant about going after those trying to keep the US from being attacked again.
If only they went after, you know, actual terrorists with the same zeal.

Nelson Mandella was a terrorist.
Oppression creates terrorism.
Oppressors torture terrorists.

Fight the cause, not the symptom.

Where the hell is your brain? Don't you get what it means when more than 50% of a group doesn't even qualify as "enemy combatants"? It means they're not really trying to stop the terrorists. If you round up innocent bystanders along bad guys and fail to let them go, you are inspiring more people to hate us! At best it would be a wash (which means they haven't accomplished anything), at worse you will actually create many terrorists where there were few before. That's not even considering the destabilization that occurs which allows terrorists from other areas to expand into new territories (as in Iraq).

These wonderful people you are defending are not really fighting terrorism! They are maintaining the status quo, perhaps even making it worse, because they profit from war!

Take your head outta your fucking ass.

I think this will come back to haunt them. How we treat prisoners, no matter the reasoning, reflects on our whole country. Will they get prosecuted, probably not! But what happens if we have a conventional war!

So you admit that Obama should serve 2 terms, huh? Good man.

You're defending injustice with injustice, do you not see how that is doomed to failure and a neverending spiral of the same shit?

You don't care that a few innocents get held imprisoned without legal course. Fuck em, they killed our people, a few innocent lives destroyed is acceptable loss.

So the government declares war on them, but they hide behind innocent peaceful people, knitting themselves deep into the grain. That's their shield, innocent people. And then, when you kill innocent people to get to them, they say, "Look what they did to your mother, will you let her die in vain?" And the children of those peaceful people grow up to become terrorists who bomb a large tower in the USA.

Unfortunately you know this story, because even despite your supreme ignorance you're an intelligent person. So that's you, that's your life, that's your perogative.

You're a terrorist in your own right.

Congratulations, your moronic idol of a soon to be ex-president (and if there is any justice, a soon to be convict) has just given yet another reason for people to hate American's.

Does your country really need to piss anyone else off? Do ex-pats and American's abroad really need their government inciting people to hurt/kill/kidnap them?
