North Sentinel Island is home to the Sentinelese, an indigenous people in voluntary isolation who have defended, often by force, their protected isolation from the outside world.

Fuck that guy. He wasn’t properly quarantined, not screened for infectious diseases at all, and definitely had diseases and/or parasites that could have decimated the population if they weren’t very lucky.
And he went there to intentionally destroy their culture.
I hope his estate was confiscated to help pay to keep them isolated, and anyone who helped him was imprisoned or fined into the poor house. This was an attempted cultural genocide.
Leave them alone!
