Where Are These "Good Cops" I Hear About?

A cellphone video entered into the court record by the U.S. Attorney’s office of Paterson police officer Ruben McAusland pulling on hospital gloves and then violently striking an attempted suicide victim in the face. McAusland was sentenced Wednesday to more than five years in federal prison for assault, and for distributing drugs he stole from a crime scene while on duty. Reports are this was the second assault on this victim who McAusland was caught on security camera punching in the face while in he was seated in a wheelchair in the waiting room, then he put on gloves before attacking the man again, gleefully filmed by the other officer, Roger Then, who is awaiting sentencing on charges that he filmed the hospital room assault on his phone and falsified reports to hide the beatings.
The victim's orbital socket was shattered requiring surgery.

Apparently this only came to light when McAusland was arrested on major drug charges and his cell phone was searched, thanks to other officers covering up his crimes he almost got away with it.
