That was as deliberate as it gets.

Since I started cycling to work I had to adjust my route as each day I was nearly taken out at least once per journey. Making 4 trips a day the odds were good I was going to get run down.

When it finally happened, guy pulled out without checking for traffic first, I ended up on the front of his van, he still hadnt seen me until I started hammering the heck out of his bonnet (hood, for our cousins across the sea). He was just gazing off to his left...

i just got back from a critical mass in Milano Italy we have them every Thursday here but there is always a cop following us and if a car gets to close they give them a ticket.. stuff like this happens alot in the US, when i lived in the states there was a confrontation almost every time : (

I ride my bike to and from work every other day. That said, 15 people riding cruiser-bikes at a snails pace while taking up two lanes? Come on now.

This mini-critical mass was people looking to disrupt other people's commute and expecting trouble.

Some people have things to get to, and no time for assholes bullshitting around with friends in the middle of the street.

Although that seemed deliberate, I say fuck these idiots and their sense of entitlement. This is almost as good as the kid getting his foot chomped by the wall. All these smelly fat hippies should maybe concentrate more on the cycling and less on the blocking up the entire road (and, on foot, the sidewalk).

I agree with bamdrew. The only thing the video shows is that there is always a bigger asshole out there. Just because a bigger one came along and ran over your bikes doesn't make your actions any better. Despite what many people seem to think, proving people opposing you are in the wrong doesn't make you in the right.

Hey budzos... What entitles cars to use the road any more than bikes? Fuck the idiot drivers who are unwilling to share the road. The cyclists were not the ones with a sense of entitlement, it was the driver who assaulted the cyclists who felt that he had more right to use the road than the cyclists, not the other way around.

Also, you called the cyclists fat, the fattest person in the video was in a car. The cyclists, as a whole, seemed to have a build that was representative of the US.

Nothing, it would be just as stupid for 10 cars to get together and block both lanes at 5mph. That an even stupider driver came along doesn't make the bikers any better.
